In 2008, Carmelo Anthony scored 33 points in the third quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Anthony shot 12-15 from the field and 4-5 from deep.  He finished with a season-high 45 points in the Denver Nuggets’ 116-105 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was a standout performance by the star small forward and a record for NBA most points recorded in a quarter. The 3rd pick in the 2003 NBA draft, Anthony is entering his 17th season in the league. Anthony currently plays for the Portland Trailblazers and has been on five different teams in his career. Anthony ranks no.15 on the NBA All-Time Points Leaders list with 26,446 points. Anthony’s accolades include 3x Olympic gold medal, 6x All-NBA Team, NBA scoring champion (2013), and 10x NBA All-Star.
