Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints broke Peyton Manning’s record (539) for career touchdown passes in a 2019 game against the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints won 34-7 thanks to Brees’ four touchdowns and 304 yards. He ended the game with 96.7% pass completion, surprising his previous 96.6% completion percentage rate from earlier in the season. Brees currently holds NFL records for career pass completions and career completion percentage. Brees began his NFL career with the San Diego Chargers, he signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2006 and retired from Pro Football in 2020. He broke John Unitas’ record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass and retired with one Super Bowl MVP selection.Â
