Buck Williams, of the Portland Trailblazers, became the 20th player to grab 10,000 rebounds during a 1992 game against the Golden State Warriors. At the time of his retirement, Williams ranked 15th in all-time NBA career rebounds. Williams began his NBA career with the New Jersey Nets in 1981, he proved himself as a power forward and won Rookie of the Year in 1982. Among his next eight seasons with the Nets, Williams averaged a minimum of 12 rebounds per game. In 1989, Williams was traded to the Portland Trailblazers and became the 5th all-time on the franchise career list for both field goal percentage (55.0%) and total rebounds (4861). Williams finished his NBA career with the New York Knicks and ended his career with more than 16,000 points and 13,000 rebounds.
