In 2008, the University of Southern California beat its cross-town rival, UCLA, 28-7. This victory was USC’s seventh consecutive Pac-12 championship. the Trojans were coming off a 2007 Rose Bowl victory and were ranked no. 3 by AP. The team went 12-1, their seventh consecutive winning season and were coached by Pete Carroll.
