In 2013, Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi scored his 14th consecutive goal in the La Liga and his 300th goal in his 365th appearance for Barcelona F.C. 

From 2004-to 2021, Messi played Forward for Barcelona F.C and had 778 appearances, 672 goals, and 288 assists. Within his career, he has scored 476 goals and 200 assists. He had scored a total of 415 non-penalty kicks and scored 61 penalty kicks.  

Messi had won 10 La Liga titles, 7 Copa del Rey titles, 7 Spanish Supercup titles, 4 Uefa Champions League titles, 3 Uefa Super Cup titles, and 3 Fifa Club World Cup titles. He won a gold medal in the 2008 Bejing summer Olympics with Argentina. He had also won the Ballon d’Or award in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, and most recently 2021. 

Currently, Messi plays forward for Paris Saint-Germain, a Ligue 1 team, and has been the captain of the Argentina national men’s soccer team.
