In 1987, Michael Jordan set a Chicago Bulls record by scoring 58 points in a single game. Three years later, Jordan broke his own record by scoring 69 points in a Bulls versus Cavaliers game.
Jordan’s 69-point game puts him in 12th place on the list of single-player records per game. Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game in 1962 has yet to be beaten and Kobe Bryant’s 81-point record is from 2006 is still in second place.
