In 2003, American professional tennis player Serena Williams won her first Australian Open Women’s Tennis against her older sister, Venus Williams. Serena added this win to her career with five Grand Slam singles titles and four straight consecutive titles. Serena held Venus to 7-6, 3-6, and 6-4 in all three sets. Serena became the fifth player of all time to win four straight titles and was the ninth player of all-time to get a career Grand Slam this early on in her career. Serena went on to win a total of 73 single titles and 23 doubles titles. 23 of her singles wins were also Grand Slams. Venus went on to win a total of 49 single titles and 22 doubles titles. Seven of her single titles wins were also Grand Slams. Throughout both of the Williams sisters’ careers, there have been multiple films and documentaries about their story and how they started playing the sport they all love.
