In a 2014 “as-told-to” article in Sports Illustrated, LeBron James announced that would return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. James came home to lead the Cavaliers after playing four seasons with the Miami Heat. James’ return to the Cavaliers was well-received by fans. Shortly after James’ announcement, the team acquired Kevin Love. In 2016, he led the Cavaliers to a championship, the first in franchise history.
