Floyd Landis, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, won the Tour de France in 2006. Landis was eight minutes and eight second behind the leader and had fallen to 11th place when he pulled off a stunning come-from-behind victory. He won the event by 57 seconds and secured the U.S.’s sixth consecutive win, the first since Armstrong retired.
