The Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Rams traded teams in 1972. Robert Irsay, owner of the Rams, traded the team to Carroll Rosenbloom. The Rams made postseason every year that Rosenbloom owned the team. Under Israel’s leadership, the Colts failed to win any championship and later moved to Indianapolis.
