Tony Hawk became the first pro skateboarder to win a “900” at the 1999 X-Games. Hawk landed the 2½-revolution spin after ten failed attempts. It is considered one of the most demanding moves in skateboarding. Seventeen years after his first 900, Hawk completed another 900 at the 2016 X-Games. Hawk made a name for himself at a young age and is still considered one of the greatest pro skateboarders of all time. He won more than 60 contests during his 17-year career.
