The Golden State Warriors selected Joe Smith as the first pick in the 1995 NBA Draft. Smith was selected in front of a record-breaking crowd of 21,268 fans at the SkyDome in Toronto, Canada. Smith spent 16 years in the NBA and played for 12 different teams; making him one of the most journeyed players in league history.
