In 2001, Allen Iverson became the shortest and lightest NBA player to win the MVP trophy. The 6-foot and 165 pound Iverson was a a shooting guard and a point guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. He was first overall draft pick in 1996 and was named Rookie of the Year his first season. In the 2000-01 season, he led the Sixers to their first finals since 1983. He scores a record-setting 48 points during Game 1 of the Playoffs. Iverson played 14 seasons as a point guard and shooting guard. He is an 11-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-Star game MVP, and was the NBA’s MVP in 2001. The 76ers retired his no. 3 jersey and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
