In 2021, professional golfer Phil Mickelson became the oldest winner in PGA Championship history at 50-years-old. Mickelson won the 2021 Men’s PGA Championship at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island by two strokes over golfers Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen.Â
Mickelson became a professional golfer in 1992 and has been playing since. He has won six major titles and has won 45 PGA Tours. He won three Masters in 2004, and 2006, and will go on to win in 2010. He won two PGA Championships in 2005 and in 2021, and he also won one Open Championship in 2013.Â
He has won 4 international victories and 3 additional victories, and his playoff record on the PGA Tour is 8-4. He has represented the United States in multiple team tournaments such as 12 President Cups and 12 Ryder Cups.Â
Also, he was in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings from November 1993 until November 2019, recording a 26-year record. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012 for his outstanding career and incredible accomplishments.Â
