The Golden State Warriors defeated the Charlotte Hornets 132-116 at the Palais Omnisports de Bercy in Paris, France during a 1994 preseason game. Star player Chris Mullin scored 25 points during the game. The Warriors later retired his jersey after Mullin played 13 of his 16 seasons in the NBA with Golden State. The Golden State Warriors vs. Charlotte Hornets game was one of 11 NBA games played outside the United States that year. The NBA has had a presence in France since 1985 and is scheduled to play the first-ever regular season game in Paris in 2020.
