Today in Sports History: October 23

During a 1996 World Series game between the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves, the Yankees set an MLB record by coming back from a six-run deficit. New York beat Atlanta 8-6. The pressure was on for the Braves who were making their fourth World Series appearance since 1991 and coming off a winning streak. The Yankees swept the Braves in four games and won their fourth championship in five years.
