Today in Sports History: October 24

On October 24, 1998, the Texas Longhorns’ Ricky Williams scored two touchdowns to set what was then the record for most career points in NCAA Division I history with 428. He would finish his college career with 450. The record has since been passed, but not many running backs have accomplished what Williams did in his college and pro careers. Williams was a Pro Bowler, two-time Doak Walker award winner, and a Heisman Trophy winner, to name a few accolades.
