Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors set an NBA single-game record with 14 made 3-pointers in a 149-124 win over the Chicago Bulls in 2018. Thompson broke the mark set by Warriors teammate Stephen Curry who made 13 threes in a single game. The sharpshooting duo dubbed the “splash brothers,” formed one of the greatest backcourts in team history. Thompson and Curry became the first two players in NBA history to make at least 200 three-pointers in five consecutive seasons. During the 2015-16 season the duo combined for 678 made threes, and finished no.1 and no.2 on the 3-pt field goals list. Together, they have won three NBA championships, started in the same NBA All-Star game, and both are winners of the NBA Three-Point Contest.
