In 2020, The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 104-89 in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. In doing so, Denver became the first team in NBA history to rally from a 3-1 series deficit twice in the same postseason. The team beat Utah in Game 7 in the first round. Jamal Murray led the way in the series against Utah, shooting a ridiculous 55% FG and 53% from the three point line. Murray recorded two 50 plus point performances in the Utah series and averaged 31.6 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.6 rebounds. In the conference semifinals against the Clippers, Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets averaging 24.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. In game 7, Murray added another 40 point game to lead the Nuggets over the Clippers 104-89. Unfortunately, the Nuggets lost 4-1 against the Lakers in the conference finals. The defeat marks the third consecutive time the Nuggets have lost to the Lakers in the conference finals dating back to the 1984-85 season.
