In 2020, The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets 112-102 in game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Semifinals. The win marked LeBron James’ 162 individual playoff win in his career, surpassing Derek Fisher for the most in NBA history. The Lakers went on to win the series in 5 games. Led by dominant LeBron James, the Lakers won the 2020 NBA Finals 4-2 against the Miami Heat. In the finals, James was named NBA Finals MVP and led the team with averages of 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists. James led both teams in scoring and rebounding in the final series, and was the 2020 playoff leader in total rebounds (226) and assists (184).
The Lakers 2020 championship was the first for the franchise since 2010, and James’ fourth. Over 18 seasons in the NBA, James has been named to 17x All-NBA Teams including 13x All-NBA First Team.
